We've all witnessed the power of video and sound to capture the imagination of children.  And if we're honest, we admit that these technologies capture our interest as well.  What better way to tap into that fascination than to use the technologies we now have available to encourage our students to learn to higher levels!

From Public Service Announcements to Commercials, the production of short video clips can introduce students to skills and encourage creativity, organization, and writing skills.  From there, move on to longer Digital Stories to reap the benefits of visual learning with your students.

In our summer video workshop, we learn ways to tap into our students' creativity and interest in an organized way that will enable us to teach them not only skills with cameras and editing software, but also build skills in planning and organizing their work, as well as reading, writing, and content.  The links below can help you in your work.
